Broad-winged Hawks, kettling

A few birds soaring in a kettle act as an attractant to other hawks that also want to use the thermal to rise. The thermals lift the hawks effortlessly high into the sky. Once topped out on the thermal, the hawks set their wings and glide to the next thermal and get another lift into the sky--all without flapping.
