Canadian Tire

    Newer Older

I dropped in to a local Canadian Tire this afternoon.. me and a gazillion Montrealers apparently.. oh and for non Canadians.. they sell much more than tires and it's kind of the Tim Horton's (or Starbuck's) of the car/houshold/hardware industry here in Canada in terms of customer loyalty. Personally I kinda hate this store, it's a messy layout, confusing at times and the staff isn't particularly polite or friendly however they have an endless amount of unusual things to choose from so it's always a interesting trip discovering items you don't really find elsewhere.

CT has the Best no Hassle return anywhere!......take it home & try it out....don't like it?....just bring it back and get your money .....just for this reason alone it's worth shopping there.....some of their products are first class....but in general medium quality merchandise......and at this time of year great deals on camping gear hahahah HAPPY NEW YEAR :-)

Not forgetting the CT money too :)
The more you returned to them the more they give it back to you.

Thanks Vit, same to you, all the best for 2011!
I like it for the oddball things you don't see elsewhere. I bought a super foam snow scraper with a huge head.. supposedly won't damage your car when pushing snow off.. will be great for big storms. I dunno, they just seem to come up with all sorts of things Canadians would use as opposed to something designed by people oblivious of our (winter) needs.
I have tones of that money but I never use it..LOL it's probably historical now.. maybe it has collector value.
LOL so true.. I seem to always walk out with something I never went in for.
