Square Victoria

This old square at the start of the Cité International has changes several times since 1813 and this is the latest reincantation and probably one of the best. It's "down the hill" on the lower part of the city near the St Lawrence river and close to Old Montreal which is just beyond the buildings in the far center-left of the picture. In fact the row of old structures on the left side is basically the western edge of Old Montreal. I used to work around here and absolutely loved it. At noon this park is jammed packed with people and the hustle and bustle is fun to watch.
