Heart Cut-Outs, Unbroken

    Newer Older

I thought I'd change the pace and toss in some optimism. Here are a whole slew of (unbroken) hearts (and a star and some feathers!) stuck to bars of the Senior Center in Harlem.

That IS a sign of hope, in bleak February with Valetine's Doom looming.

      LOL. Indeed, there is.
Yeah, it's cute the seniors put the time in. It's weird about the feathers -- probably part of some pagan life-extending ceremony. That's my guess :)

feathers can represent many things . some people believe it is a sign from passed on loved ones to say they are around and with you. some believe they're a sign of good luck and some believe bad luck depending on colour . not necessarily pagan , but some other religions too . : ))) white small feathers can mean a birth , some black feathers can mean some tradgedy in store maybe bad news or just bad luck in not getting the job you wanted. it all depends whether you believe or not it's the same with anything.
