Lower Lewis River Falls Sunset HDR
I went out shooting in the rain again last night but didn't really get anything good. I just got wet. After looking through my new pictures and realizing that nothing was worth editing I decided to dig through the archives instead. I found this sequence of shots from my birthday camping trip back in October. This perspective is super contrasty, down a dark river valley directly towards the sun, and the pictures all looked terrible on their own. I hadn't done an HDR in forever so decided to give it a go. This is six shots put through Photomatix, blended with a few shots put through Enfuse blended with some of the original shots and tweaked and tweaked and tweaked and viola! It took me over an hour to create this. Now I remember why I don't do HDRs.
