These photos were taken in July 2006, when my good friend Karen B. Valentine (and her son Aaron) of Reading, PA, visited. Karen's a true-crime buff and likes to take photos of sites and gravestones associated with famous true-crime cases. Lincoln's most famous such case is that of spree-killer Charles Starkweather and his girlfriend Caril Ann Fugate, in 1958. There's nothing particularly noteworthy about any of the photos -- just capturing some images associated with a notorious period in Nebraska history.
