Polar Bear, Resolute Bay

This guy was giving me the stare.....

I was actually about 60 to 70 meters away. Standing beside a vehicle, so I felt quite safe. The bear was on the bay near Resolute Bay, Nunavut. He was a young male, separated from his mother. At best, he faced an uncertain future.

I was fortunate to have my new 70-300 lens with me, so i didn't need to get any closer.
