I don't suppose there is anything more cliché than images of sunsets and sunrises. Robertson Davies said "clichés have become worn because they embody important truths." Keats said "Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all ye know on earth, and all ye need to know ..." What was that I was saying again? I'm sure it was something important ... hmmh?
