      Hi DC . I am hobbyist photographer and planning to buy sx40hs.
      I am confused about sx40 hs and sony cybershot hx100v. Would you please suggest me which one is better in manual control.

      nope, it's not post processing, you can see it's EXIF file (by clicking camera name to see picture information, see above)

      usually, if picture from post processing, Exif will record editing software such as Photoshop

      hi...can somebody please tell whether such background defocus function is inbuilt function of the camera or it has to be done by using external software....... coz i have shortlisted two cameras..one is sony hx-100V and other one is cannon s-40....the only two features i am concern about sx-40 is inbuilt background defocus and panaromic views features.....

      please somebody clarify my queries...

      Oh man! You are so NOT going to do any better than this shot with any camera. One thing that
      You'd seriously MISS is the awesome Range of the SX40 . . (compared to the G1X) . . however different strokes for different folks as they say . . the G1X has a larger 'sensor' and wickedly good glass as well as several other photographer friendly perks. If you don't need (or want) the range . . I'd say go for the G1X.
