This was for a lovely couple yesterday and was HUGE (for me anyway). 14", 12", 10" & 8" with 2"h styro risers. Flavors were choc with Bavarian cream and chocholate hazelnut filling, and yellow butter cake with raspberry chambord, vanilla bean swiss meringue with rasp preserves and lemon buttercream. I planned on more flowers but as I started putting them on it actually looked better with them being a little lighter. I'm happy with the end result and it did look really pretty at the wedding site.

Can't decide which photo I like better, would appreciate your feedback.

Just gorgeous! I love your use of those styro 'risers' for creating even more height and overall drama - most effective!

      Hi there!

I have a website that specializes in pictures of objects that represents holidays. It’s called www.holidaytrees.blogspot.com

For December it was about Christmas trees, then New Year’s Resolutions. After that it will be all about wedding cakes.

I would love to feature this cake on one of the threads. I will be more than happy to give you the credit for the picture.

Please let me know if you are interested by emailing holidaytrees@gmail.com Also remind me which cake I was asking about. I did not want to copy the picture without your permission first. I am also interested in any stories that go along with the wedding cake (whether it is stories about the wedding or how the cake was made).

      Thanks!
