chicken wings

first i steamed the wings until they were almost fully cooked. steaming keeps the skin moist while rendering out a lot of the fat. the water left in your steamer is totally gross, but it's nice to see how much fat you avoided eating!

 

then you coat the wings lightly in sauce (i used soy sauce, honey, kraft brand bbq sauce and some salt and pepper this time) and bake them for about 20 minutes (flip them over after 10 minutes) at 375-400 degrees.

 

then you eat!
