      Actually, there's quite a sad story behind it.

      We went to an elephant sanctuary where elephants are rescued from the logging and begging industries... Some of them had suffered such hideous maltreatment (blinding, broken limbs, etc).

      But only half an hour after I took this one of the guys who looks after the elephants (a Mahout) drowned in the river while taking his elephant down to wash. He was taken by the current, couldn't swim... None of his colleagues could get to him in time...

      Yes, terribly sad. He'd only worked there a month or so - had come down from the mountains near Burma I think.
