City Lights, Hendry's

What a great night to test out a new lens..!

We had very rare patchy, poofy, fast moving clouds. Perfect for long exposure work. I took out the D300 with my new Tokina 12-24mm lens to put both through the paces. I'm very impressed with the sharpness of the Tokina, and the D300 is of course awesome.

This was about 5 minutes with no noise reduction of any kind applied. The lights on the right are from Goleta and UCSB reflected in the clouds. Not sunset, in other words - this was taken many hours after sunset.
