      I absolutely love this piece! Here's another detail I could see looking good: Using these pieces for the tops of the books to emulate pages better than solid bricks.

      glad you liked it and thanks so much for the great idea - it would look great but the limitation is that most of the books i've made are 5 plates wide, and that piece, though perfect for the part is only available in one size, really limiting the math in the snot involved.

      I am love the books! trying to figure out what blocks you made them from. I also love buildings and furniture design,so I am enjoying your creations very much! Wanting to get back into legos myself and had picked up the lego Idea book and that's where I saw your designs! Jackie
