Lightning Over the Savannah River, July 2018
Last night I went downtown intending to capture the Talmadge Memorial Bridge. However, the lightning looked like it was dying down and the storm was clearly east of the bridge. So, with a 2-stop grad ND affixed to the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, I set up my camera pointed eastward around 6:30pm (my camera's time is an hour off). Thirty minutes later, the only lightning bolt I saw on this outing happened just as I reframed the scene for a slightly wider angle of view.
