Stars Over the Tybee Island Pier
My plan was to schedule a star trails image using the Tybee Island Pier during the latest new moon phase. Unfortunately, sporadic cloud cover meant that I had to change my plans and capture regular images instead. On the plus side, I the presence of clouds gave me a lot of variation in the images captured, so it was definitely more fun sorting through them.
I liked how the low-level, yet slightly distant clouds in this image gave it a layered, very 3-dimensional sort of look.
