Amanda and the Vines
I drive past this fence nearly every day of the year whenever I'm at home. I've used the fence countless occasions for a backdrop. But until the other day, I'd never thought of using the vines that adorned a particular section. On the contrary, I know that I've purposefully avoided that section of fence so as to have a "clean" fence in various portraits.
But while walking down the driveway last week it finally hit me. "Why don't I use these vines as a tightly framed portrait backdrop? Hmm...."
Amanda and I tried the shot a couple of days later and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
