A Little History

Recently discovered, these were probably put away and forgotten about sometime in the '70's by my wife's grandparents. From left to right: Polaroid Automatic 210 Land Camera, Kodak Brownie Starmeter, Kodak Brownie Starflash. The Brownies were in their original boxes with accessories and 2 unopened boxes of 127 film that expired in 1975. There's still packfilm in the Polaroid. The 210 Automatic was produced 1967-1969. The Brownie Starmeter was produced 1960-1965. The Brownie Starflash was produced 1957-1965. These were affordable "point and shoot" film cameras of the day, with the Polaroid Land Camera being 'instant' packfilm. My sister-in-law had dibs on the Polaroid and I was given the Brownies. They aren't worth a whole lot of money, but it doesn't matter. I think it was a cool find and they are something I will hold onto.
