      Nice composition. I like the texture.
      I still have a couple of K1000's that I use to shoot star trails.

      @EA - the irony of the zoom lens is that I was taking a picture of rope that lay at my feet. Not very far away.

      @HT and FttL: thank you. The K1000 is a wonderful camera, I actually use mine quite a bit for family stuff (which my wife doesn't like me posting on the net - privacy issues).

      Star trails.... I like star trails.

      Agree a great image. I'm using it as a visual hook for a maths lesson about chords in parabolas . Thanks for sharing.
