Urbex Beelitz Heilstätten

This large hospital complex was built in 1898 and was originally designed as a sanatorium. During World War I it was used as a military hospital of the Imperial German Army. In 1916 Adolf Hitler was treated here after he got shot in the Battle of the Somme. In 1945, Beelitz was occupied by the Soviet Forces and the complex remained a Soviet military hospital till 1995. Then, after the Russian withdrawal, it was left abandoned. Waiting to be used again....
