Stout Rullquin

A bottle of Stout Rullquin at Borefts 2014.

Stout Rullquin is a 7% abv dark sour ale made by blending La Rulles Brune (Stout de Gaume) with 1/8 (12.5%) young lambic and aged for 8 months on oak vats at Tilquin, before it was re-fermented in bottle.

For me it had that that nice lambic sourness to it but I thought the stout character was a bit simple, so overall I prefer the regular Tilquin sour ales to this collaboration.
