the way to spoiled dreams

When I edited this I imagined I was looking at a canvas, and in true painter form I went at the image with a digital paint brush...the result of which is slightly lost here in this sharpened tiny version, but there nonetheless. I have such a good time with images like this...dark surroundings, a light subject, simple yet a spiral of details for the eye to rest on.

What I mean to say is, I very much enjoyed creating this. I'm feeling creatively energized again and ready to conquer new concepts and push my ideas further.

I shot this in 4 different parts stitched together so that I could get very close to the subject in order to create shallower depth of field...that really helps me get a neutral background.

Does anyone else feel like Sunday is the perfect day to create something big and magical? I always feel that way...that it is the perfect day for creating props and shooting something elaborate. I'm going to do that today with white paint and an umbrella.
