Venecian Beggar

Venice is home to many beggars, and its not like North America where beggars are either truly in need, psychologically unable to care for themselves, or simply street urchins who should "just get a job". In Venice, and most of the major Italian centres, there is a wide array of people with very real problems from leprocy to abuse. Many gypsies also roam the streets trying to steal from locals and tourists alike, and it becomes very difficult to differentiate between the various groups of homeless after a while, and decide who genuinely needs help, and who is about to have their kids steal your wallet and camera.
