The Prince of Wales: Regenerating Burnley
The Prince of Wales first visited the Lancashire town of Burnley 23 years ago. From that visit, His Royal Highness longed to help regenerate the town's architectural heart - the Weavers Triangle - and provide more opportunities for the former mill town, which has been beset by social and economic problems.

Since then The Prince has spearheaded, through his diverse charities, a community-wide regeneration.

In October 2011, The Prince will return to the area for the fourth time in six years to see first-hand the regeneration projects taking place there.
