Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee

22 June 1887: Queen Victoria attends the unveiling of her statue, erected by the inhabitants of Windsor and surrounding parishes, to commemorate her Golden Jubilee. She can be seen sitting in the carriage along with her children Victoria, Princess Royal, Princess Helena and Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh. The statue, designed and executed by Edgar Boehm, depicts Queen Victoria holding a sceptre and orb.
