Brisbane Festival 2011: Beautiful Noise

In the Brisbane Festival atmospheric amphitheatre, a spectacular world-first production takes shape that will have audiences on the edge of their seats.

Fearless performers scale the walls of Brisbane Powerhouse and flying acrobatic dancers draw all eyes up to the night sky, rhythm masters of tap set the beat, while hip-hop artists smash the stage.

Brisbane’s Raw Dance Company and Sydney’s Legs On The Wall have joined forces to create Beautiful Noise – a stylised aerodynamic performance commissioned by Brisbane Festival.

Created and conceived by Anton, Director for Legs On The Wall and Andrew Fee, Creative Director of Raw Dance, the production dynamically celebrates movement and embraces every detailed sound composed by Timothy Constable and Bob Scott.

With energised tempos, spectacular jumps and a rhythm of tap like you have never seen before, a conversation of movement and sound between the performers will fill the space from the floor, up the walls, to the sky. This is a wild experience you do not want to miss.
