Paul Nash's House, Rye, East Sussex.

Paul Nash, who is known for his landscapes, painted the flat lands that surround the town of Rye in the early 30's. In medieval times the sea submerged these marshes, and before the sea receded Rye (which in it's original form meant Island) was an important port.
