“One belongs to New York instantly, one belongs to it as much in five minutes as in five years”

I miss New York so so terribly at this very moment. And I do not know when I can go back. So sad, but yet at the same time it's wonderful to have a place out there in the world that feels like home, which draws you and lures you back. It makes the world a tiny bit smaller, having an anchor over there on the other side of the Atlantic too.

New York... it's my place of play and ease, of awe and energy, of immersion and feeling completely alive.

I will go back, I will. One day.

    Some day...

(This was just a parenthesis post, to get these feelings of pure longing out of me, ease the pain.... I'm still so very behind when it comes to your streams, so sorry about that my friends... Will do my best to get things sorted out asap.)

I love your take on NYC. You make it look all beautiful and romantical. I hope you get to go back really soon. Hey. Weren't you asking us all where you should go on an upcoming vacation? Ummmmm....maybe if you stare at this one a bit longer you might think of someplace.

Oh my god, my hubby and I were just having that exact conversation about Kauai. I read him your entry and I almost got teary eyed. He said, "Wow, I could have posted the exact same thing only replace it with Kauai." We also said that someday we'll go back... I hope you get back to your special place soon.

Springtime beauty. It's fun to see your love and perspective of a place that was so near yet far when growing up. :-)

Thank you all, I'm glad you liked this one, it's one of my favourites, :).

I know, and I wish I could go, but... it's just way too expensive, can't afford it right now, sadly. Another time.

Keep those haiku's coming! (or not haiku's...).
