Northbridge,Sydney, Australia

Northbridge in Sydney, Australia started life in 1892 as a suspension bridge with the distinction of having Australia’s longest span until it was surpassed by the Sydney Harbor Bridge in 1932. Then in 1937 it was replaced by a concrete arch but it retained the marvelously ornate stone towers of the old suspension bridge.
