Saw on news there was a hella of a fire going on just a few miles over the Solway in Dumfries.
Went out for a few late night pics, none were great, think I left the IS on the lens which combined with a clunky shutter left less than sharp pictures :/
On anything longer than a few seconds the fire line was clearly blurred, this thing is still moving fast!
Watched for about 30minutes and in that time the fire line changed dramatically.
Earlier in the day (5pm ish) the fire was seen mostly on the lower left portion, and by the time I gave up for the night, a clear silhouette from behind the mountain became clear, the moorland behind Criffel will likely burn for most of tomorrow if not longer.
