Peaseblossom | by briannaorg

A familiar refrain - none of my spring peas would germinate, so I tried one last ditch seed starting endeavor the first week of June, partially to fill my 3x3 spot at the local community garden. The peas actually sprouted that time, but when I arrived with my seedlings, someone had filled in my plot, so I had to find hasty homes for everything on the deck and in the herb garden. The tiny chair was my mom's, I thought it would make a lovely pea trellis - and I was right. Only one plant survived the heat of June, and has finally started blossoming.
