Steamer Lane Summer Bomb

This was a perfect day off in Santa Cruz as the fog stays off more and more leaving the sunrise open to see and the first real swell of the fall rolled through at eight feet and strong. The Lane was packed but only the strong survive out here when the first big swell hits. Each wave separates the novice from the skilled until it is spread out as it should be. This wave was the best of the bunch but it was the size that got me. I was on a thirty foot cliff looking down. I wish there was a spot lower down to give the full sense of the size.
