Last week on Tuesday morning I headed to North Head for sunrise, as I suspected Sydney was in for an amazing sunrise and I was spot on.
The sky went absolutely balistic in shades of purple and pink.....unfortunately all the main action in the sky happened just to the right of where I was standing and I couldn't change my position as this was the only composition.
I watched in total awe as the sky lit up in unimaginable colour, but at the same time felt disappointment that I wasn't able to capture all the magnificence that I witnessed.
Still some of the colour came through to the right hand side of my image and the beautiful magenta tones in the sky reflected off the cliff faces. into the water and clouds.
So I am still happy with how this image turned out.
