My pals in Farewell had me come out to Greensboro and do their album photos and new press work for their new album coming out in August on Epitaph Records. This will be their second full length for Epitaph and it sounds so dang good! I am really stoked for this album!!
Anyway, we wanted to shoot on a roof, so we shot on top of Marshall's (singer, in the middle sitting down) house. It was a feat trying to keep all my gear from rolling off.. Same goes for us as well. Will, purple shirt and suspenders, and myself are not too found of heights and I made the mistake of wearing flip flops up there. So as soon as I got up there, I took them off before I went rolling down on off the roof and landing on the neighbors dog. It was a fun time and we always have a blast shooting together, even though it seems I have the worst luck before shoots with these guys. Last time I had car trouble and cell phone trouble. The first time I was supposed to be down at the shoot at 1 pm and my phone had decided to not work and my car decided it wanted a break too. I didn't get down there until about 4/4:30 and this was in December, so we lost nearly all sunlight. This time I ran into GPS problems along with crazy traffic Greensboro for some mullet, cut off jean, tobacco spitting redneck event they had going on at the coliseum. I was scheduled to be there at roughly 4 pm and didn't get their until closer to 6 pm. I must of broken a mirror when I was a bit younger.
Be sure to check out their album when it comes out in August! Get stoked! It's awesome!
