Boyfriend Socks - finally finished!

Pattern: Boyfriend Socks by Alice Bell from Slipped Stitch.

Yarn: Regia Silk Uni, black.

Needles: 2,5 mm; I used bamboo DPNs, metal Addi dpns and magic loop (an 100 cm Addi Turbo).

Started: March 2007.

Finished: 15 July 2007.

These socks took forever (well, 4 months); I'm blaming the black yarn and the 80 stitches per row. I also didn't particularly enjoy knitting the cables. But I think it was worth it: the socks look gorgeous and very stylish on my boyfriend's feet!

I can also, very strongly, recommend the yarn (Regia Silk). Extremely soft, a bit shiny, luxurious and affordable. I hope it washes well.
