The Nowhere Road
I thought of this idea the last time I shot in this location a few weeks back, and it's very relevant to me right now. University is starting again and many of my friends are moving back across the country for second year. It's strange because not many of them are going and it's still possible to visit them occasionally, but it just gets to me somehow. Last year I planned to visit friends and never did, so this year I'll really try. Hopefully I can go and see Emma in Durham and Katie in Northampton and my to be stepbrother in Aberystwyth. This photo also relates to how I feel because I think actually attending Uni is holding me back. For my course I have to do modules I hate, like architecture photography and social documentary (my nemesis in the photography world). It drains my creativity so badly and my tutors are never the most positive about the work I'm passionate about. The only thing is, I don't know what I'd do instead if I did drop out of the course.
It's 1am and I'm rambling so I'll leave you to (hopefully) enjoy this photo!
I also saw Brooke's most recent photo before shooting this and was inspired by that here, aesthetically.
