Albert Kahn was a 19th and 20th century philanthropist french businessman.

In 1893, he acquired a property near Paris to establish a unique garden containing a variety of garden styles including English, French ... and Japanese.


Today this garden is part of the Albert Kahn Museum which host "The Archives of the Planet", a large collection of 72,000 images and 600,000 feet of films taken between 1900 and 1930 depicting people and landscapes from all corners of the globe.
