Capitol Sunset HDR

I went down to the east side of the Capitol to scout locations for the 4th of July fireworks in DC. Before I left the house I checked the weather and saw some serious storms were on the way but figured it wouldn't be too big a deal. I took a few pictures before the storm started rolling in...then all of the sudden it just started dumping buckets of rain. It is the worst storm I've seen in a long time. I hung out under the awning at the Capitol Visitor's Center for about 45 minutes until the storm passed. I was glad I did. I knew some of the best sunsets follow the passing of a storm so I sat and waited until this occurred. On the disappointing side, I asked a passerby for a picture of me with this sunset in the background and got an awful picture.
