Binnenhof, The Hague, The Netherlands
I recently attended a conference in The Hague, the capital of The Netherlands. On my first night there, I went to the beach for sunset. The wind was howling at around 30mph. I finally gave up on that location and took the tram back to the downtown area. When I got off the tram, I saw the sky starting to light up. Luckily, my hotel was only 2 blocks from this beautiful courtyard, cathedral, and fountain. I didn't bring my tripod with me so had to take this at a lower f-stop than I would have liked, but otherwise I'm happy with how this turned out.
