botta's atrium at sf moma

The atrium is the circular form in alternating bands of black and white which forms the central feature of the 5 storey SF MOMA building located at 151 Third Street, San Francisco. It was designed, in his signature style, by Swiss architect Mario Botta and completed in 1995.

The building behind it is the 1925 Pacific Telephones & Telegraph HQ by Timothy Pflueger.
