blossoms in baskets - a study in ironing and sewing.
Three hours. Three hours! These two dresses took three hours to make. My geriatric, sewing machine doesn't much like the tiny scale. It kept eating fabric, so I had to start with fat hems, then trim. That is I trimmed too close and then the wrong side, so back to square one. And because these are so small, I had to iron fold the hems as pins were just too big. Of course, the sweltering heat didn't help one bit!!
I should have insisted on them wearing shades. I think there's sweat on their eyelids. Sigh.
