Victoria Air Terminal 1978
The British Airways Victoria Air Terminal photographed from the roof of Victoria Coach Station in 1978. Construction of this building (originally known as the Empire Terminal) was started by Imperial Airways in 1938. Imperial Airways originated the Speedbird symbol which is still used as a callsign by British Airways today.
The sky in this slide scan has been modified using Aperture to remove dust and scratches, giving it a somewhat surreal look. I quite like it though!
