Did they run this in the TP? I think I saw it there. How does one go airborne in New Orleans

its a cool shot but would probably only get on a cover if it was a result of some natural disaster or if someone famous was involved...

This is a great capture of a single moment, but otherwise it feels like just a snapshot to me.

Cool shot! Neat that you happened upon it...AND had your camera!

      Technical: 4

Compostion: 4 (I could have fun playing with this one and cropping it this way and that!)

Eye appeal: 7 (I was immediately drawn to it--more out of shock than color or compositon, so the subject is what is magnetic in this photo)

Commercial viability: 3 (Not really seeing this as a big seller...other than to involved insurance agencies ;D )

Score: 4.5/10 as seen in NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC: PRO INVITATION

Wow. Tough room :D Thanks for the comments.

It was good enough for the local paper. I could have tweaked it a bit but this happened the morning I was to leave on a trip, so I never did. Thinking back now I would have stepped more into the street to uncover the police car.

It was around the corner from my house, and in front of the place I used to live at. The people renting the apartment I got evicted from got car damage.

Yes, uncovering the police car would have been fun to explore, I agree! But we don't always have the time, etc., to do that, eh?! It is the "thinking back" kind of thing that makes us better photographers each time we go out!

Wow, was that an action shot? Or was the flipped car stuck like that, wedged between two things?
