The Polaroid Swinger carton is an excellent example of using color in relationship to the market place as well as for its own decorative value. Stacked in any combination, the colors work well with one another and create a colorful display, a display of packaging that can stand apart in store windows and store interiors dominated by Kodak yellow. The fact of Kodak yellow in the market place became the first consideration of the designer when working on his own color selections.
