South End
The Boston Pictorial Archive holds photographs and prints documenting Boston's South End neighborhood in the 19th and 20th centuries, with the bulk of the material covering the years from 1880 to 1930. Images include street scenes as well as historic buildings, churches, and residences.

If you would like to see how the South End neighborhood has changed, check out this Map of Boston published by the Metropolis Map Co. in 1890 from the Norman B. Leventhal Map Center at the Boston Public Library.
