120218 Crazy Roof Extension

    Newer Older

Even when I have a Saturday at home, I always feel the desire to pop out to do a wee sketch. Today it was incorporated with filling up with petrol (gas).

I like to drive around suburban blocks looking for houses that catch my eye. Many hideously overscaled new houses...so this one stood out this afternoon.

It also fits in with the USK AUS monthly theme of Roofscapes. Yes.... we have decided to have our own monthly theme...for more details visit our flickr or facebook.

Oh my gosh! Somebody managed to stuff a lot of roofs onto their house! *g* Beautiful sketch!

So you are suburban house stalker, driving around looking for the next victim!

I think the victims would probably love this drawing!

This is a nice drawing. Reminds me of a Craftsman house on steroids here in the U.S.

Our family home was a Tudor-revival Craftsman . . . . much tamer than this one! Does USK AUS have a blog?

Wow! Indeed a lot of roofs on one roof ... lol ... Very difficult drawing with all the different angles of the slopes on the roof and you did it so well.
