Calling all travel sketchers

    Newer Older

Ok... I have quite a collection of travel sketchbooks (17 to date in 4 years) as you can see above. But in talking to some sketchers on Saturday I realised that I do not have a collection of other peoples travel sketchbooks to inspire me and others.
So, please let me know if you have a flickr set - link to your own travel sketchbooks/journals as I would love to have a look.

Also, I am particularly interested in sketchbooks/journals that incorporate collage (tickets, brochures, maps etc) with their sketches.

Crestine Hauser Photography, and 38 other people added this photo to their favorites.

I am always soooo inspired to view other sketchbooks and travel journals give a double dose of inspiration. I keep one collection for my travels and would love to share, of course we all aspire to be any where near as talented and traveled as you are.

Hi Liz. I've done a couple of sketch journals, One is online at my blog. There is more journaling than sketching.

Great to see this huge collection. I also have some 15 moleskine type of books for all my travels, you can find them on my blog and flickr pages. I sometimes use tickets etc, but they are often too big for the pages I use. www.renefijten.blogspot.com. Nothing compared to Gerard though, he is the benchmark.
