Chicago-march-3rd

Tribal family, come together in a held, safe and sacred space to explore your Sex/Sacral Chakra. Allow the Kundalini Ecstatic Dance practicum to take you deep. We will harness the magnetic vibration of the earth with our Root Chakra. From there we will progress the earth energy into the Sex/Sacral Chakra where you will have the opportunity to energize and clear any contractions and limitations holding you back from existing fully in your beautiful creative sexual self.

We will commune the Sex/Sacral Chakra dance at TransAmoeba, 1325 S Wabash, on Monday the 3rd of March, at 6 pm. Try to arrive on time and with an empty belly. Be ready to dance for the entire creation. The creation, dance, discussion, snacks and short survey to follow, will take approximately 2 ½ hours. This is a bare foot event!!! If you may, please bring a donation for the space as this is a free event. Arrive on time wearing a few layers of comfortable exercise, dance, contact, and or celebration clothing and ready to witness your self in the Sex/Sacral Chakra.

“Kundalini Dance is a contemporary ecstatic dance journey into the seven chakras where dance-movement therapy, rhythmic breath, tantric-healing, trance energy and Shamanic States are used to enter into the body/mind consciousness to gain insight and healing for body-mind and soul. Kundalini Dance balances the chakras as a whole system and so results in physical and emotional healing.

Each chakra governs different organs, body parts, and emotions. Core issues relating to survival, creativity, sexuality, personal power/control, love, relationships, communication, intuition, and spirituality are all expressed through the chakras. Combining, rhythmic breathing techniques that purify and express the energy of each chakra with dance movements, shifts stagnant energy and repressed emotions that have been trapped in the mind and in the cells of the body. It is through this dance practice that we can let go of stress, anger, grief, fear, and negativity. Our breath is a powerful tool for transformation; it’s the key to physical, emotional and spiritual well-being, taking you to natural states of ecstasy. It rejuvenates the body, bringing insight and clarity to the mind, and supports the awakening of higher consciousness.”
