Iain Russel's Slylark IV at 20,300ft over Wooler

Iain Russell made a superb flight from Borders Gliding Club on 26th June 2011. In his Slingsby Skylark IV wooden glider he climbed to 20,500 ft in wave. He travelled from Wooler in Northumberland to Dunbar on Scotland's East Coast - about 60 miles round trip and was airborne for 4.5 hours/

Here the altimeter at lower left shows 20,300ft.
