Passageway - Cults Limestone Mine {Explored}

    One of the larger open sections of the mine's main passageway which we walked into. We speculated that the '1240' was the distance we were from the entrance.

    If you look on a larger version you can see 'Rescue checked' above the numbers. This was from a search of the mine when a group of teenagers got lost inside in the 90s.

      I remember this section quite vividly. I was down in a group of three and two of us were discussing how unsafe that wooden support looked. As we were talking about it, the other guy with us, who was gazing around asked which support we were talking about before almost walking into it. I'm glad he didn't though, I dread to think what would come down if he hit it.

      Based on the video posted on youtube, it looks as if you took the same route down as the group I was in. I keep meaning to come back for a second look.
